Wooden stockade fence and aluminum fence recently installed without permits, now <br />seeking after-the-fact approval <br /> Shed installation previously approved administratively by the Conservation Agent, but <br />concerns raised about coastal bank clearing <br /> Wildlife passage requirement – 5-inch gap needed at the bottom of the wooden stockade <br />fence for animal movement <br /> <br />Commission Concerns & Requirements <br /> Erosion control deemed inadequate – silt fence insufficient for steep grade, hay bales <br />required for foundation, and sonotubes excavation <br /> Construction access concerns for north side wall construction in a steep area requiring <br />additional mitigation <br /> Shed relocation proposed to move shed 5 ft east out of the coastal bank and revegetate the <br />entire coastal bank area <br /> <br />Motion <br />nd <br /> Ms. Zollo made a motion for a continuance to May 22, which Mr. Cook seconded <br /> Vote: Mr. Cook (Yes), Ms. Zollo (Yes), Ms. Clapprood (Yes), Ms. Godfrey (Yes), Mr. <br />Colombo (Yes) <br /> Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br />Agent <br /> Proposed addition over the existing deck <br /> No increase in bedrooms <br /> The existing fence is within wetland jurisdiction but not permitted <br /> Applicant requesting after the fact approve for fence <br />o Recommends that some areas of the fence flush with the ground be modified to <br />allow for small wildlife passage <br /> Requested trees to be removed should be assessed by a certified arborist, with submission <br />of a recommendation <br />o Recommends if removed, additional mitigation should be a condition (assuming <br />proposed mitigation is not related to proposed tree removal) <br /> Recommendation <br />o Submission of a 2-year mitigation & monitoring contract between property owner <br />& a qualified horticulturist or wetland consultant <br />o Submission of arborist assessment for proposed tree removals <br />o Fence modifications <br />o All areas of new and/or restored lawn conform to standards under regulation 31 <br /> <br /> Board of Health: If increase in flow, then new septic construction must meet full <br />compliance with BOH I/A septic system regulation. Any disposal system variances shall <br />be heard before the approving authority the BOH <br /> <br />th <br /> Building/ZBA: Requires ZBA relief, scheduled for June 11 hearing <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
