,yrxrasr.a
Town of Mashpee Community Preservation Commission
" 16 Great Neck Road North
° Mashpee, MA 02649
informed about project progress and reporting back to the Committee. Members felt this approach
would strengthen the Committee's stewardship of CPC funds and reinforce public trust.
NEW AND ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
Environmental Oversight Committee (EOC):
• Status: Awaiting updates on the RFP process.
• Action: Members Judy and Michaela to participate as representatives.
• Adoption of Wave Al auto-transcription system in absence of recording secretary.
• CPC to establish a generic email for communications.
• Encouragement for project applicants to attend Town Meeting to answer questions.
The Committee was informed that the release of the RFP for this project was still pending. In
preparation, members Judy and Michaela were designated as CPC representatives to participate in the
review process once the RFP becomes available.
Open Space & Recreation Plan:
No new updates were available. Members acknowledged the importance of this plan and discussed the
possibility of integrating its work into the larger Local Comprehensive Plan process. This would ensure
alignment of goals and avoid duplication of efforts.
Additional Notes
• System Update: Introduction of the WAVE system for automatic minute-taking in the absence
of a dedicated recording secretary.
• Communication: Creation of a generic CPC email address to replace contacts previously
managed by Kathy Soares.
• Community Engagement: Encouragement for project proponents to attend Town meetings to
address questions and provide insights.
Respectfully submitted,
5W_W_
Gina Gonsalves
Board Secretary
