<br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Russell at 7:03 p.m.

<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION
<br />
<br />To consider the purchase, lease or value of the following parcels of the real property located at 9 Pickerel
<br />Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 53, 17 Pickerel Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 54, 25 Pickerel Cove Road; Map
<br />13 Parcel 55, 33 Pickerel Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 56, 87 Pickerel Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 1, 7
<br />Pickerel Cove Circle; Map 13 Parcel 57, 21 Pickerel Cove Circle; Map 14 Parcel 14, 25 Pickerel Cove
<br />Circle; Map 14 Parcel 4, and 0 Rear Pickerel Cove Road; Map 14 Parcel 3 pursuant to G.L. c. 30A,
<br />section 21(a)(6), with the Chair having declared that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on
<br />the negotiating position of the CPC. The meeting will reconvene in Open Session thereafter.

<br />Discussion followed with respect to the subject parcels as identified. In accord with the recommendation
<br />of the CPC and vote of the May 2024 Special Town Meeting $2,821,000 was authorized to purchase the
<br />(9) parcels as referenced.
<br />
<br />Preliminary negotiations have reduced the number of lots to (4). This would include;
<br /> 9 Pickerel Cove Road, 1.84 Acres, Map 13, Parcel 53
<br />17 Pickerel Cove Road, 1.91 Acres, Map 13, Parcel 54
<br />25 Pickerel Cove Road, 1.92 Acres, Map 13, Parcel 55
<br />33 Pickerel Cove Road, 1.99 Acres, Map 13, Parcel 56
<br />
<br />The total appraisal value of the (4) parcels is $1,180,000.
<br />Negotiations also require the land to remain fallow in their present condition.
<br />
<br />Motion made by Ms. Wyman-Colombo to continue the negotiation process, and move forward with
<br />the acquisition of the (4) parcels as referenced for a sum not to exceed; $1,180,000. Said land to be
<br />used for Open Space purposes.
<br />Motion seconded by Mr. Klein.
<br />
<br />Discussion followed.
<br />Mr. Klein motioned to recommended the motion be amended to add: The Town of Mashpee would
<br />retain the first right of refusal for the additional parcels.
<br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Waygan.
<br />VOTE: 3-4. Motion fails.
