Select Board <br /> Minutes <br /> August 11,2025 <br /> Selectman Weeden-yes <br /> Selectman Cotton-yes <br /> Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br /> Selectman Richardson-yes <br /> Review of Recommendation for Award of Contract for Santuit Town Landin Site <br /> Improvements Under Massachusetts Vulnerability Preparedness Grant-Ashley Fisher, <br /> Water 0uality Coo rdinator <br /> The Select Board welcomed Ashley Fisher, Water Quality Coordinator, to present the <br /> recommendation for awarding the contract for site improvements at Santuit Town Landing, <br /> funded through the Massachusetts Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Grant. The <br /> recommended contractor is J.W. Dubis of Chatham, with a proposed contract amount of <br /> $724,000 to complete the site improvements. <br /> This marks the fifth annual MVP grant award and the largest to date, totaling <br /> approximately$1 .7 million. The project will involve a full rehabilitation of the Santuit Town <br /> Landing site, including wetland restoration, boat ramp upgrades, and the addition of <br /> recreational features. The site is currently in poor condition, and the improvements aim to <br /> restore the area so that residents can enjoy it while enhancing environmental resilience <br /> and community use. <br /> In collaboration with Protect Our Homelands Summer Camp and the Mashpee <br /> Wampanoag Tribe, the project will also include murals and sculpture installations. This <br /> partnership highlights the cultural and environmental significance of the site and <br /> underscores thetown's commitment to inclusive and sustainable improvements. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the recommendation for Award of <br /> Contract for Santuit Town Landing Site Improvements to J.W.
