Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> t <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Meeting Minutes of the Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> Thursday, November 20, 2025; 2:00 PM <br /> Mashpee Town Hall- Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> *In-person and televised meeting* <br /> Present:Chair, Meredith Harris; Vice Chair, Alfred Towle; Commissioners Joseph Lyons, <br /> Mohan Nair and Cody Erickson and Ashley Fisher, Water Quality Coordinator and Karyn Leslie, <br /> Executive Assistant Wastewater Department <br /> Absent: Wastewater Superintendent, Jared Meader <br /> Chair Meredith Harris called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. in open session. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> Chair Harris requested a moment of silence. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Chair Harris requested a review of October 16, 2025,meeting minutes and any changes or <br /> comments to them. <br /> MOTION: To accept October 16, 2025, minutes. <br /> Motion by: Alfred Towle Seconded by: Cody Erickson <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> (Meredith Harris, Alfred Towle, Joseph Lyons, Mohan Nair, and Cody Erickson) <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> No public comment. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Nothing discussed <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> GHD UPDATE <br /> Phase One Progress <br /> Marc Drainville of GHD provided a comprehensive update on Phase 1 and Phase 2 sewer work. <br /> For Phase 1,he reported that the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) has been operating for <br /> several months. The contractor reached substantial completion in October, triggering the one- <br /> year warranty period. Final completion is scheduled for November 30. Recent lab results showed <br /> total nitrogen levels at 4 mg/L, approaching the goal of 3 mg/L. Mr. Lyons asked what the <br /> average flow was and Ms. Fisher answered that the average daily flow this week was <br /> approximately 51,000 gallons. On the displayed map, green and orange zones reflect areas <br /> already completed and accepting connections, while the blue zone (Phase IA) remains under <br /> construction.
