The Town Planner requested this to be on the agenda. He <br /> would like to apply for the funding of a feasibility study for the lot near Town Hall for affordable <br /> housing. It is +/- 11 acres with multiple parcels. There could be options for single family 100% <br /> affordable with 100% ownership models or other multifamily models. This funding is state <br /> funding that was received from the county, with $192,000 available in total. The Commission is <br /> receiving applications from towns, and he is requesting the Board make a unanimous vote to <br /> support this application. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Ms. Waygan made a motion to support this application and authorize the Town <br /> Planner to apply for a feasibility study at 0 Meetinghouse Road for a 100% <br /> affordable housing project. This can take up to a year. The first <br /> foundation is in. <br /> Affordable Housing Committee & Affordable Housing Trust Update <br /> Mr. Tobin has been working with the Chair of the AHC to put together an educational program <br /> in the form of a speaker series for the Committee. Barret Planning Group will start off with <br /> general 4013's.
