Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission t 16 Great Neck Road North Mashpee, MA 02649 o Contract 5: Work near Town Hall began the week starting on the 15th. o Contracts 4, 5, 6: Linear work had not fully started; current activity included installation of green stakes marking proposed lateral locations for residences. Additional contractors were expected to start soon. Traffic Notifications and Project Tracking Tools Mr. Drainville reviewed how traffic and construction notifications appear on the Town/Sewer Commission website: • Residents can use the Sewer Project Status page and open the construction progress schedules to view a 3-week look-ahead of work and traffic impacts by contract. • The Phase 2 project was moved to the top of the list for easier access. • The schedule was described as color-coded by contract so residents can identify which work applies to them more quickly. GIS System and Green Stake Process Mr. Drainville stated the GIS system is active and is being populated by resident representatives: • Resident representatives will photograph green stake locations for each property and upload those photos to the GIS system. • The GIS tool is intended to help residents who are away for extended periods see where the stake is placed relative to the home and begin discussions early if changes are requested. • The GIS system will be available through a Town webpage hotlink and searchable by property address. Green stake placement details discussed: • Typically one stake is placed, based on a straight-line approach to the road. • In certain cases (such as driveways or obstacles), an offset stake may be used and noted; an offset may be marked in pink. • If residents raise concerns, staff can review plans with them to explain expected routing and placement. Notifications: • Residents were told two notifications are being provided: a mailed letter and a hand- delivered door hanger. • The notice includes contact information for both the engineer and the contractor. Planned Public Update Sessions Mr. Drainville said he and Mr. Meader discussed starting regular public update meetings, potentially quarterly, held at night. Topics would be driven by public questions and could include technical issues such as groundwater recharge mounding. Mr. Meader stated the intent is to hold sessions based on the issues and questions coming in at the time and to treat it as a public- focused meeting. Mashpee/Wakeby Subsurface/Collection System Permitting Status Mr. Drainville gave a brief update on the Mashpee/Wakeby subsurface and collection system work: The project is in the permitting phase.
