Prior
to recent rainfall, water levels were too low to measure. Following a storm event that
produced approximately 7.7 inches of rain, a subsequent measurement indicated
approximately 8 inches of water flowing over the board, with the board closest to the lake
measuring 10.5 inches. The Department of Public Works gauge was estimated to read
approximately 9 inches; however, it was noted that the gauge was di?icult to read
accurately. All measurement information was forwarded to Dan Kent for review.
During the meeting, members discussed site conditions at the dam, including a tree that
had fallen across the path. Dan Kent stated that he would address the issue and arrange for
removal of the tree, noting that clearing the obstruction would improve access and safety
1
