,�yrxrasr�.a <br /> Town of Mashpee Community Preservation Committee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> >z„ id Mashpee,MA 02649 <br /> DECISIONS/MOTIONS/ VOTING AFTER HEARING ER OM APPLICANTS <br /> AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE/AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST <br /> MOTION: To support the Affordable Housing Committee Trusts application for$500,000. <br /> Motion by: Michaela Wyman Colombo Seconded by: Ed Schmuhl <br /> AMENDED MOTION: That the money is used in compliance with the following conditions: <br /> • That the funds be used in compliance with the Housing Production Plan (HPP) <br /> • Significant amount of the funds are expended within five (5)years of the award by Town Meeting <br /> unless mutually agreed upon by the committee <br /> • That a semi-annual progress and financial update be provided to CPC <br /> • Complete a grant agreement <br /> Motion by: Mary Waygan Seconded by: Lynne Barbee <br /> Discussion: The funds would be drawn from the CPC Affordable Housing category. <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY/ HOMEYER VILLAGE <br /> MOTION: To recommend an award to the Mashpee Housing Authority for the Homeyer Village project <br /> using funds from Affordable Housing. <br /> Motion by: Michaela Wyman-Colombo Seconded by: Ed Schmuhl <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> MOTION: To recommend to Town Meeting to award$222,565 to the Mashpee Housing Authority for the <br /> project Homeyer Village siding,windows and door replacement our of the CPC "Undesignated Fund"with <br /> the following condition: <br /> • Provide updates on the project every six(6)months <br /> Motion bv: Michaela Wyman-Colombo Seconded by: Ed Schmuhl <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> 701 GREAT NECK ROAD SOUTH / ROBERT FOX <br /> Based on the discussion, the Committee indicated that it was not prepared to take a vote on the application at this <br /> meeting. Members stated that additional information and review were needed,including: <br /> •A clearer and more detailed budget breakdown and scope of work; <br /> •Further consideration of Town Counsel's guidance; <br /> •Possible independent cost estimates or bids; and <br /> •Additional discussion of how the request might be restructured,reduced, or conditioned to better protect the <br /> public interest. <br /> No motion was made. The matter was continued for further review at a future meeting. <br /> 7 <br />
