The Committee <br /> agreed to continue working with the applicant, seek further clarification from Town Counsel, and <br /> explore whether the project could be structured to focus on eligible historic exterior stabilization in <br /> compliance with legal requirements. <br /> No motion was made. The matter was continued for further review at a future meeting. <br /> NEW B USINESS <br /> 2026 MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> After discussion of member availability and room conflicts, the Committee agreed to move its regular <br /> meeting schedule to the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM for calendar year 2026, with dates to <br /> be circulated and adjustments anticipated for holidays. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> • PROJECT UPDATES <br /> Veterans Memorial II <br /> Chair Russell reported that the applicant formally withdrew the request and is working with Lawrence <br /> Lynch to reduce the cost of the war monument. The applicant had secured a $15,000 state grant and <br /> reduced project costs, eliminating the need for CPC funding. <br /> Pickerel Cove acquisition <br /> Chair Russell reported receipt of notice from the Town Manager that the Select Board voted on <br /> September 15, 2025, to decline the purchase and sale agreement for the Pickerel Cove properties. <br /> MOTION: To close out the Pickerel Cove acquisition project and return the previously awarded <br /> funds, estimated at approximately $1.1million, to the original CPC funding category. <br /> Discussion: Town declined (not the seller) the purchase. <br /> Motion by: Mary Waygan Seconded by: Michaela Wyman-Colombo <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> 8 <br />
