<br />Select Board <br />December 22,2025 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />(This space is reserved for topics that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate would be discussed) <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />Chair Wyman-Colombo noted that the Mashpee parade was a tremendous success. <br />WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br />The Sewer Commission met on Thursday, during which Mark Drainville presented both progress to <br />date and the plan being prepared for upcoming updates. <br />Town Manager Updates <br />Town Manager Rodney Collins reported that the issue of health plan coverage for GLP-1 <br />medications is being addressed in coordination with legal counsel and Cape Cod Health Group. <br />These medications, primarily used for weight management, could significantly impact health plan <br />costs. A hiring freeze has been imposed until the potential budgetary impact is determined. Current <br />projections indicate a possible 10–25% increase, approximately $1.5 million. There is no impact for <br />individuals using GLP-1 medications for diabetes.
