Selectman Weeden also noted
that the relocation of the portable restroom may result in the loss of one or two parking
spaces. Laurent explained that the relocation was intended to improve user safety and
accessibility.

Laurent noted the layout in the upper right portion of the lot by realigning boulders on the
eastern side to create a more defined entrance and to slow vehicle tra?ic as it approaches
the beach.

Chair Wyman-Colombo asked Catherine Laurent to return with revised concepts showing
potential locations for additional parking for further Board review.

Presentation on Great Neck Road North and Route 130 Roundabout
Catherine Laurnt presented to the Select Board on the proposed Great Neck Road North and
Route 130 roundabout project. Laurent explained that the project originated in December
2021, when the Board voted to replace the existing tra?ic signal with a roundabout.

The intent of the project is to improve the overall level of service at the intersection by
allowing continuous vehicle movement rather than stopping tra?ic at a signal. The
presentation reflected a design development plan, which has been coordinated with Phase
II of the Town’s wastewater project scheduled to begin within the next year.
