Collins, Town Manager Dave called the meeting to order at 9:00 am. NEW HEARINGS 9:00 am Project Address: 19 Frank E. Hicks Drive Architect/Engineer: Kaestle Boos Associates (KBA) Agents: Sean Schmigle, Eric Roise, and Amy Moro Project: Construction of new Police Station and Auxiliary Building. Existing building will be demolished once new building is complete. Mr. Schmigle presented the plans to the Committee for the proposed construction of the new Police Station and Auxiliary Building. The existing building will be demolished once the new building is completed. The proposed new building will be 29,400 sq. ft. The lot size is 27.8 acres. Mr. Schmigle stated that the bid for general contractors will be sent out by mid-November. The general bids will be secured by the end of next year with an estimated start date by the spring. It will be approximately a 20-month project. Mr. Roise provided a power point presentation of the proposed building, site, and drainage plan. The existing building is situated close to the road, and they will secure as many existing trees as possible. The antenna will be relocated. The drainage plan depicted the underground system, and a drainage pond. There will be a maintenance auxiliary building that will provide storage for the harbormaster, and will also be the impound lot. The public parking will be situated in the front of the building, and the staff parking will be in the rear of the building. t
