Selame.Proposed pool installation, and mitigation <br /> plantings (Representative: Marsh Matters Environmental) 43- <br /> 3230 <br /> The Commission considered a request for a Certificate of Compliance for 202 Daniels Island Road. Staff confirmed <br /> that the project passed inspection. <br /> It was noted that the only substantive change from the approved plans was the relocation of all pool equipment. The <br /> equipment, originally approved to be located approximately five to six feet from the coastal bank,was instead moved <br /> adjacent to the roadway, in front of an existing retaining wall. Commissioners agreed this modification represented an <br /> improvement, as it eliminated electrical and mechanical components from the top of the coastal bank. <br /> Staff further reported that the applicant completed extensive mitigation, including restoration of the entire backyard <br /> and additional mitigation beyond the fence line, exceeding original requirements.
