All in favor. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Ruth Nickerson —Yes Ann Macdonald — Yes <br /> Beth Geatrakas —Yes Mary LeClair— Yes <br /> Sandi Lahart — Yes Joan Lyons-Yes <br /> LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br /> The Library Director provided progress and status updates on the hiring <br /> process and personnel. <br /> The Children's Room renovation project began January 5th and is <br /> progressing on schedule. <br /> There were some HVAC issues during the month of December. <br /> Cybersecurity is at the forefront of everyone's mind and there is a need to <br /> use caution when using technology. The Library Director will be reviewing <br /> and suggesting updates to the Bulletin Board Policy regarding the usage of <br /> QR codes on materials that are posted for the public. QR Codes can be <br /> tampered with to redirect patrons to malicious websites and pose other <br /> security risks. <br /> Children's Programs will continue during the Children's Room renovation <br /> project. The Event Room works nicely as an alternate location. <br /> The popularAARP tax preparation will be returning this year on Thursday <br /> and Saturdays. <br /> The Library Director reported on the budget meeting for the FY27 year. It <br /> was a very positive meeting. The Town is addressing many funding needs <br /> including health insurance and labor contracts, as well as Capital budget <br /> projects. <br /> 2 <br />
