Conservation Agent <br /> Richard Sahl,Member <br /> Seana Pitt, Member <br /> Neal Larsson,Associate Member <br /> Open Public Meeting—Call to Order <br /> Chair Cook called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Chair Cook led the meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> Public Comment(For any issues not related to agenda items- *3 minutes per comment) <br /> John Cotton, a Mashpee resident, spoke in support of continuing the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance at the start <br /> of meetings. He described the Pledge as a voluntary expression of respect for the United States and the constitutional <br /> freedoms that allow public participation and open debate. Mr. Cotton stated that the Pledge serves as a unifying <br /> reminder that, despite differing views, citizens share a common system of government. He referenced veterans who <br /> have defended those freedoms,including the right to participate—or not participate—in the Pledge.
