Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> t <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Meeting Minutes of the Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> Thursday, January 15, 2026; 2:00 PM <br /> Mashpee Town Hall-Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> *In-person and televised meeting* <br /> Present In Person: Vice Chair, Alfred Towle, Executive Assistant Karyn Leslie <br /> Via Zoom: Chair Meredith Harris, Mohan Nair, Wastewater Superintendent, Jared Meader <br /> Absent: Commissioner Joseph Lyons, Cody Erickson, and Water Quality Coordinator, Ashley <br /> Fisher <br /> Vice Chair Towle called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. in open session. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> Vice Chair Towle asked for a moment of silence. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Vice Chair Towle requested a review of December 18, 2025, meeting minutes and any changes <br /> or comments to them. <br /> MOTION: To accept December 18, 2025, minutes. <br /> Motion by: Meredith Harris Seconded bv: Mohan Nair <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> (Alfred Towle, Meredith Harris, Mohan Nair) <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> No public comment. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Nothing discussed <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> GHD UPDATE <br /> Project Update—GHD <br /> Mr. Greenville of GHD provided an update on ongoing wastewater projects. <br /> Phase One: Substantial completion of the treatment plant was achieved in October. One <br /> remaining major task is final membrane process testing with the equipment manufacturer, which <br /> will be scheduled once sufficient flow levels are reached. Phase One collection areas are open for <br /> connection. Phase IA is nearing completion, with final walkthroughs underway and a clear water <br /> test anticipated in early February. <br /> Phase Two: Phase Two contracts are expected to be active by next month. Contract One has <br /> been underway since September and includes work on new sand beds and an administration <br />
