Contract Five, located near Town <br /> Hall, began during the week of December 15. Other contracts are in early stages, with most <br /> expected to start by the end of January or early February. <br /> Mr. Greenville reviewed how residents can view weekly construction progress schedules and <br /> contract maps through the project status section on the Town website. <br /> Wastewater Planning Updates <br /> Mr. Greenville noted that quarterly public wastewater planning updates are being planned, <br /> with the first session tentatively scheduled for late February. These sessions may be held in a <br /> more informal setting, such as the library. The initial topic is expected to be groundwater <br /> recharge, in response to public inquiries. <br /> Watershed Management Plan / MEPA <br /> Mr. Greenville provided an update on the modified phasing plan related to the watershed <br /> management plan. He stated that cost tables are currently being revised to align with the updated <br /> phasing. The Commission anticipates requesting authorization at a joint Sewer Commission— <br /> Select Board meeting in late February to proceed with the MEPA review process. <br /> Mr. Greenville explained that the MEPA process will include two public review periods and is <br /> expected to take approximately four to five months to complete. He did not anticipate any <br /> significant obstacles in moving forward. <br /> Future Phasing Discussion <br /> In response to questions regarding sewering south of Route 151, Mr. Greenville stated that this <br /> work is currently projected for a later phase, approximately in the 2036-2040 timeframe. He <br /> explained that recent rephasing efforts were intended to avoid impacts to newly paved roadways. <br /> Phase Three is expected to be comparable in scale to Phase One and will contribute <br /> incrementally toward meeting TMDL requirements. <br /> In response to questions, staff reported that approximately 214 single-family homes are <br /> currently connected to the system, not including Sea Oaks or Summerwood, with 41 additional <br /> properties permitted and pending connection. <br /> CHAIR REPORT <br /> Not discussed. <br /> WASTEWATER SUPERINTENDENT UPDATE <br /> Ms. Leslie, on behalf of Wastewater Superintendent, Jared Meader, reported that current flows <br /> remain at approximately 50,000 gallons per day. It is anticipated that flows will increase as <br /> Phase IA properties are connected, allowing final membrane testing to proceed. Plant operations <br /> were reported to be stable, with testing results positive and minor equipment issues addressed <br /> without impacting treatment processes. <br />
