of TMs s,s
z.
Aannin Board
c
16 Great Neck Road North
.wlashpee, Aassachusetts 02649
Ms. Waygan would rather see runoff go into engineered stormwater systems, and it will save
money.
The Grading Plan shows 3:1 slopes with a 5% driveway. The Lighting Plan was updated, with
the focus being increased appropriate lighting on pedestrian access areas over sidewalks and
reducing lighting on the edge of the property. Some fixtures on the westerly side were moved
to the easterly side. There is a new set of plans and responses from February 12th that may
not have gotten a full review yet.
Ms. Waygan asked about the Lighting Plan and the light on Rt. 28, it was noted one small
rectangle or two small rectangles would be in that fixture, one aiming a direction, the other
aiming the opposite direction.
They received a letter from the Mashpee Fire Department after the re-submission of the most
recent set of documents. Mr. Dibb would like to have a meeting with Ms. Christy to go over a
couple of items, and he anticipates remaining questions will be answered. This was reviewed
by the State Fire Marshalls Office.
Mr. Balzarini would like a letter from the Fire Department acknowledging their approval. He
asked about the brown markings on C102. This is the wooden guard rail on the sidewalk side.
He further asked if there would be a retaining wall to hold up that driveway. It was answered
the southerly side has a drainage basin, with a 3% slope a retaining wall is not required, but a
guard rail is. Mr. Balzarini would like an engineer to acknowledge that. He inquired about the
bike rack on C103, near Rt. 28, and the positioning of the bus stop. It was answered that the
bus stop has been removed from inside the property, but they would be willing to provide funds
to support a bus stop. Based on the previous discussion, it was clear the bus stop was not
wanted on site. They aren't sure where to place it so they are seeking guidance.
Ms. Christy added the Traffic Engineer with Tighe & Bone will have more input from a
circulation approach. It was added the bus stop location was not ideal when people have to
walk all the way across the lot to access.
Mark Bogosian was thinking about it less as a shelter, maybe just some benches, and a pull off
past the entrance.
Mr. Balzarini commented that people might want it on Rt. 28. It was clarified that a structure is
hard to facilitate when being moved off site. Ms. Christy will look into the bus stop deeper.
4
