4. Executive Director's Report & Cal2ital Project U12dates: Ms. Conn reported that there <br /> is one vacancy at Homeyer, due to another transfer, but this should be leased on Monday. <br /> There is one vacancy at Asher's Path for a 30% unit, and there have already been three <br /> refusals. There are twelve outstanding rents, five from Breezy Acres,three from Homeyer, <br /> three from Great Cove, and one from Asher's Path; six tenants are under repayment <br /> agreements,three court cases,one returned check,one message left,and one vacated tenant <br /> due to eviction. Ms. Conn reported that the Maintenance Mechanic position has been filled <br /> and the applicant will begin work on Monday. The board reviewed the Certificate of Final <br /> Completion for Project 172087 15A Mold emediation& Restoration as presented by the <br /> vendor John Kennedy Services, Co. Inc. Ms. LeClair moved to approve the Certificate <br /> of Final Completion for Project 172087 15A Mold Remediation & Restoration and <br /> issue the payment in the amount of $9,445.00 to John Kennedy Services Co. Inc., <br /> seconded by Ms. Meizinger. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, O-Nays. Ms. Conn reviewed the <br /> quotes for Project 172086 Homeyer Village 24-Unit Mixing Valve Replacement and <br /> recommended awarding the contract to the low bidder. Ms. Meizinger moved to award <br /> Project 172086 in the amount of $7,124.48 to Durfee Plumbing & Heating for <br /> Homeyer Village 24-Unit Mixing Valve Replacement, and authorize the Executive <br /> Directo to execute the contract, seconded by Ms. LeClair. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, 0- <br /> Nays. Ms. Conn informed the board that the infrastructure from the Massachusetts <br /> Broadband Institute grant has been installed at Homeyer Village. <br /> 5. Old Business: Mr.Klein reported that the CPC meeting was cancelled last month,but they <br /> received a flood of applications. The board reviewed the application presented by the <br /> Housing Authority for doors, windows, & siding replacement at Homeyer Village and a <br /> brief discussion ensued. Ms. Conn reported that it was her intention to roll the project into <br /> the existing roof replacement project if timing and design allowed. <br /> 6. New Business: Ms. Conn reported that the Housing Authority has been added to the <br /> eceinber 2, 2025 agenda of the Affordable Housing Committee to request support of the <br /> CPC application as required for all housing applications, she also would like permission to <br /> present to the on housing and possibly work with the on future projects. Ms. Allen <br /> moved to authorize the Executive Director to present to the Affordable Housing <br /> Committee on behalf of the Mashpee Housing Authority,and to collaborate with them <br /> on an ongoing basis for potential future projects, seconded by Richard Klein. Motion <br /> carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. The Contract for Financial Assistance (CFA) 5001 Amendment <br /> #14 was not available, and the board agreed to table this agenda item until the CFA was <br /> issued. <br /> 7. Other Business: None. <br /> 8. Correspondence/Communications: Ms. Allen reported that the Mashpee Housing <br /> Authority has received a resignation letter from Kevin Shackett,effective immediately,and <br /> that according to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 41, section I I the housing authority <br /> is required to report this vacancy to the Selectboard in which Ms. Conn will do so <br /> tomorrow. <br />
