Affordable Housing Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Tuesday, December 02, 2025 at 6:30PM <br /> Mashpee Town Hall - Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, Ma 02649 <br /> APPROVED: 01/06/2026 <br /> Present: Chairman Michael Sparkes, Gerry Tutor, Denise Geoffrion, Sharon Muller <br /> Also Present: Cearra O'Hern — The Mashpee Enterprise, Michaela Wyman-Colombo- Select <br /> Board Chair, Kimberly Conn- Executive Director, Mashpee Housing Authority, Jennifer Haskel- <br /> Assistant Director, Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Michael Sparkes called the meeting of the Affordable Housing Committee to order at <br /> 6:30PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, followed by a moment of silence. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES — November 04, 2025 <br /> One minor grammatical correction was made. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Denise Geoffrion made a motion to accept the meeting minutes as amended. <br /> Seconded by Gerry Tutor. All in favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND MEMBERSHIP <br /> Interview for Affordable Housing Committee Vacancy - Richard Putterman <br /> Mr. Richard Putterman retired from TD Bank six years ago. He volunteers at the Senior Center <br /> for counseling with Medicare assistance through SHINE. He has been on Cape Cod for almost <br /> 20 years but is originally from Connecticut. At the end of 1987 he moved to Massachusetts, <br /> started a business, and had two daughters. Prior to banking he was a manufacturing rep for 30 <br /> years. His daughters live in England and Seattle. He currently lives in the Commons and is <br /> enjoying the community. He has grown an interest in serving the community. He is enjoying <br /> the Council on Aging, and he would like to continue those volunteer efforts. <br /> He has interest in housing, noted its importance in a community, but he has no specific <br /> experience. He is eager to help and is willing to learn. <br /> Mr. Putterman has managerial skills that he could apply to this Committee and has dealt with <br /> executive level businesses, knowing how those systems work. He noted he works well with <br /> others. <br /> Ms. Muller knows Mr. Putterman from SHINE. She recognized his knowledge and his <br /> phenomenal ability to weigh through the complexities of the medical system. He is succinct, <br /> methodical, has great attention to detail, and asks appropriate questions. She was pleased <br /> with his suggestions. <br /> 1 <br />
