The Chair inquired about his commitment and availability. Other than a Thursday engagement, <br /> he has nothing tying him up now. <br /> Following the interview, Chairman Sparkes noted there are no other applicants, but the <br /> Committee will take a little more time to get back to him. The holidays are approaching and the <br /> Committee will touch base again after the new year. Mr. Putterman was instructed to send a <br /> cover letter and resume to the Select Board's office. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Request for Letter of Support from AHC for Mashpee Housing Authority-CPC <br /> Application siding window and door replacement at Homeyer Village <br /> Kimberly Conn, Executive Director of the Mashpee Housing Authority, is looking for $225,565 <br /> from the CPC, to be used towards a total estimated cost of $1.1 Million. The application states <br /> the other funding sources being sought. This building was built in 1981 and is 40 years old. <br /> The current windows, siding, and doors are the original. They also sought a letter of support <br /> from Christ the King and Mashpee Commons. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Denise Geoffrion made a motion to sign a provided letter of support for the <br /> Mashpee Housing Authority application to the CPC. Seconded by Gerry Tutor. All <br /> in favor. <br /> Request for Letter of Support from AHC for Mashpee Town Planner— DLTA Application <br /> for Feasibility Study funding <br /> Town Planner, Brian Tobin would like to utilize their resources and apply for a feasibility study <br /> for the Meetinghouse Road property behind Town Hall, for the consideration of single and <br /> multifamily housing. Should the application be denied, he would consider using AHT funds to <br /> support that study. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Gerry Tutor made a motion to support the Town Planner in his efforts, with a <br /> letter drafted by Chair Sparkes on behalf of the AHC, endorsing the request. <br /> Seconded by Denise Gioffrion. All in favor. Mike to write. <br /> Discussion with Planning Department on Speaker Series of presentations to the AHC, <br /> and review of structure of AHC and AHT <br /> Chair Sparkes had a conversation with Town Planner Tobin, who is assisting in making <br /> contacts for this series. Some potential guests include representatives from the Executive <br /> Office of Health and Livable Communities, along with the state, who will provide some <br /> education on 40B projects. Future guests may include the Housing Assistance Corporation, <br /> Preservation of Affordable Housing, and Barrett Planning, the consultants used to develop the <br /> Housing Production Plan. <br /> Mr. Sparkes would like to add as an agenda item to reference Mission Statements from other <br /> towns. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Town Sewar Update <br /> 2 <br />
