Fin Com-Regu la r Session <br /> August 21,2025 <br /> Joe Peltier, Fire Chief, and Deputy Chief Branden Ramseydiscussed a planned advance <br /> purchase of new life-saving equipment, advancing a previously planned expenditure <br /> originally scheduled for fiscal year 2027. The current equipment is nearing the end of its life <br /> cycle, and acting nowallows the town to take advantageof highertrade-in values—$16,000 <br /> per unitversus$5,000 if purchased later—resulting in significant cost savings. Funding will <br /> come from ambulance receipts, ensuring no double charges within the samefiscalyear. <br /> Motion Made by Greg McKelvey to move back to the discussion of the held articles. <br /> Motion seconded by Keith Machado. <br /> Motion passed 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote <br /> Jeffrey Pettengill, yes; Greg McKelvey, yes; Richard Weiner, yes; Keith Machado, yes. <br /> Old BUSINESS <br /> Motion made by Greg McKelvey to remove the hold on Article 4. <br /> Motion seconded by Richard Weiner. <br /> After discussion, the Finance Committee decided to postpone taking a position on the <br /> Article until all members have the opportunity to express their opinions.
