As the
request was received late in the day, it will be added to a future agenda for review.
OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
Review of Application for Temporary Sign Permit, Mashpee Youth Baseball & Softball
– Chris Losh, Applicant
Applicants requested a temporary sign permit to display 10–20 signs until March 11.
They noted that last year’s registration doubled after the signs were posted.
Town Manager Rodney Collins explained that the current policy limits temporary
signs to five days.
Selectman Weeden expressed concern about making exceptions to policy and
suggested the possibility of a supplemental application to remain consistent with
regulations. Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson emphasized the importance of equity and
following policy, even if multiple applications are required. Chair Wyman-Colombo
noted that the board may review the policy to determine if exemptions for longer
durations are allowed. Collins clarified that a specific section of the policy defers
authority when the board is not in session.
14
