Catherine Laurent, DPW Director, presented the proposal, <br />which would install full air conditioning in the school. <br /> Discussion focused on the balance between limited summer use of the building and the <br />need to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for students and sta?. <br /> It was noted that the transition to full HVAC triggered additional requirements, including <br />electrical system upgrades and expanded fire suppression. <br />Some Select Board members expressed concern about the project’s cost and timing given <br />current financial constraints, while others supported the investment for health and safety <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
