Minutes of Meeting of Design Review Committee Tuesday, July 15, 2025 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room 8:40 am Project Address: 41 Coombs Lane Business name: Conchitas Outdoor Learning and Play, Inc. Owner/Agent: Sarah Thornbrugh Request: Requesting two (2) signs on her property for her proposed in-home daycare. A rectangular sign 2 ft. x 3 ft. to be permanently installed at the base of the driveway, and a second sign 18" in diameter be mounted at the side entrance to the home. Ms. Thornbrugh presented her proposal requesting signage for her in-home daycare. The sign material consists of weatherproof PVC '/2 inch thick and are blue and yellow color printed letters on a flat surface. The Committee had a discussion regarding the amount of signs allowed on the property. Only one sign is allowed under the bylaws. The Committee could not allow a sign attached to the house. The Committee suggested an alternative portable sign that will be removed after each day. Ms. Thornbrugh agreed. The Committee had no issues with the 2 ft. x 3 ft. sign, but will be required to be 5 ft. from the property line. There was no more discussion. Ms. Faulkner moved to accept the application as presented to permit a 2 ft. x 3 ft. sign 5 ft. from the front property line at 41 Coombs Lane for an in-home day care business. Mr. Furbush second. All were in favor. OTHER BUSINESS ➢ Approve June 3, 2025 Meeting Minutes Mr. Morris asked for a motion to approve the meeting minutes. Mr. Furbush so moved. Ms. Faulkner second. All were in favor. Mr. Furbush made a motion to adjourn. Ms. Faulkner second. All were in favor. The meeting adjourned at 8:57 am.
