Chapter 44B, §5, the <br />sum of $428,000 for the purpose of funding the exterior historic preservation project at 701 Great <br />Neck Road South, Mashpee, including all necessary costs and expenses related thereto, as <br />recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, or take any other action relating <br />thereto. <br /> <br />Submitted by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> <br />Explanation: The goal of the project is to undertake a comprehensive historic renovation of the <br />former Amos house at 701 Great Neck Road South. The building is known as one of the oldest <br />homes in Mashpee and has been designated as historically significant by the Mashpee Historical <br />Commission. A Historic Preservation Restriction will be recorded to protect this historic resource <br />in perpetuity.
