Motion made by Select Board Member Richardson <br /> <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 4 as printed in the warrant, with the exception <br />of the phrase “or take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes 299 to 33 at 8:31PM <br /> <br /> <br />Article 5 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $205,990 from revenue available <br />for appropriation to fund the Mashpee Permanent Fire Fighters Association, International Association <br />of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 2519, effective July 1, 2026, with said funds to be distributed to various <br />salary line items by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br /> Submitted by the Select Board <br /> <br />Explanation: This article will fund the negotiated adjustments to the Mashpee Permanent Fire Fighters <br />Association, International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 2519 for Fiscal Year 2027. <br /> <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of 7-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Wyman-Colombo <br /> <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 5 as printed in the warrant, with the exception <br />of the phrase “or take any other action relating thereto”, to pay the cost items of the first fiscal <br />year of the collective bargaining agreement between the Town and the Mashpee Permanent Fire <br />Fighters Association, International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 2519, for the <br />period beginning July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.” <br /> <br />Motion passes 299 to 27 at 8:33PM <br /> <br /> <br />Article 6 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $171,495 from revenue available <br />for appropriation to fund the MASS.
