<br />Select Board <br />April 27,2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Vote: 4-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Review and Approval of $32.7M Interim Loan from the State Revolving Fund for Phase 2 <br />Sewer Project – Craig Mayen, Treasurer/Collector <br />Craig Mayen, Treasurer/Collector, reviewed the proposed interim loan financing for the <br />Phase 2 Sewer Project through the Massachusetts Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF). <br />Mayen stated that the Town of Mashpee was awarded approximately $32.77 million as part <br />of the 2025 Intended Use Plan under the Massachusetts Clean Water Program. He explained <br />that this funding represents a portion of the overall $96.1 million Phase 2 financing plan. <br />Mayen stated that the funding would be issued as an interim loan, with the loan anticipated <br />to convert to permanent financing during the winter of 2027. He further noted that <br />repayments would begin in Fiscal Year 2028, similar to the current $50 million interim loan <br />already being utilized by the Town. <br />Mayen also stated that $12.43 million is included in the 2026 Intended Use Plan and is <br />expected to follow the same financing procedures, likely during the following year. <br />Mayen requested Board approval of the interim loan in order for the Town to move forward <br />with financing through the State for the $32.77 million borrowing authorization. <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the Certificate of the Interim Loan from <br />the State Revolving Fund for Phase 2 Sewer Project as read into the record by Craig <br />Mayen, Treasurer/Collector. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br />Vote: 4-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
