<br />FINCOM-Regular Session <br />March 26,2026 <br /> <br />FINCOM: The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this <br />article because it is the responsibility of the Town to pay for the cost of Mashpee students <br />who attend Cape Cod Regional Technical High School. This article will impact the current <br />year tax rate. <br />Article #14 – Cape Cod Tech Regional Debt Assessment (APPROVED BY UNANIMOUS <br />CONSENT 3/19/2026) <br />FINCOM: The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this <br />article because it is the Town’s share of the construction costs of Cape Cod Regional <br />Technical High School. This article will impact the current year tax rate. <br />Article #15 – Transfer funds to OPEB (Other Postemployment Benefits Irrevocable <br />Trust) (APPROVED BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT 3/19/2026) <br />FINCOM: The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this <br />article because it is the Town’s attempt to address its legal requirement to fund the Other <br />Postemployment Benefits Irrevocable Trust Fund. This article will have no impact on the <br />current year tax rate. <br />Article #16 – Transfer funds to Injured on Duty Fund (APPROVED BY UNANIMOUS <br />CONSENT 3/19/2026) <br />FINCOM: The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this <br />article in order to meet the Town’s legal requirement to fund the Special Injury Leave <br />Indemnity Fund. This article will have no impact on the current year tax rate. <br />Article #17 – Transfer funds to fund Chapter 90 road improvements (APPROVED BY <br />UNANIMOUS CONSENT 3/19/2026) <br />FINCOM: The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this <br />article because funds will be 100% reimbursed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. <br />This article will have no impact on the current year tax rate. <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />
