<br />FINCOM-Regular Session <br />March 26,2026 <br /> <br />Article #32 – Amend Zoning Bylaws for Chapter 174-17 & 174-17.1 <br />The Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of this article to bring <br />town zoning bylaws into compliance with current state law. This article will have no impact <br />on the current year’s tax rate. <br />Motion made by Keith Machado to accept the explanation for Article 32. <br />Motion seconded by Richard Weiner. <br />Vote 7-0 <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br />Article #33 – Amend General Bylaw Chapter 126: Trade in Furs <br />The Finance Committee voted unanimously to not recommend approval of this article <br />because we feel it is not appropriate for the town of Mashpee to restrict legal commerce. <br />This article will have no impact on the current year tax rate. <br />Motion made by Jamie Shuh to accept the explanation for Article 33. <br />Motion seconded by Darlene Furbush. <br />Vote 7-0 <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br />Article #34 – Amend General Bylaw Chapter 120-2: Excessive Noise by Dogs <br />The Finance Committee voted 5-1 to recommend approval of this article to modify the <br />current bylaw to support enforcement e?orts related to excessive noise by dogs. <br />This article will have no impact on the current year tax rate. <br />Motion made by Jamie Schuh to accept the explanation for Article 34. <br />Motion seconded by Anne Schnader. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Vote 6-1 Motion passed <br />24 <br /> <br /> <br />
