MOTION: <br /> Mary LeClairmade a motion to approve the purchase of replacement <br /> computers in the Children's Room with interactive learning devices. <br /> Seconded by Ruth Nickerson. All in favor. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Ruth Nickerson -Yes Ann Macdonald - Yes <br /> Beth Geatrakas -Yes Joan Lyons-Yes <br /> Sandi Lahart-Yes Kate Milde - Yes <br /> Mary LeClair- Yes <br /> Building & Grounds <br /> The Adirondack chairs purchased for the Children's Outdoor Play space have <br /> been assembled by the DPW staff and are now outside in the area waiting for <br /> permanent placement. <br /> The DPW staff are still completing work in the Library painting the trim and <br /> doorways as time allows. They are currently working on the second floor. In the <br /> spring the Library is scheduled for a power wash/scrub, and the pillars will be <br /> repainted at the Steeple Street entrance. <br /> POLICY REVIEW AND UPDATES <br /> Library Card Policy <br /> The revised Library Card Policywas edited to highlightthe provisionswhich are <br /> actually policy, and remove the sections which were informational, or described <br /> work flows and procedures associated with employee duties. The changes <br /> streamlined the content of the policy with the goal of making it easierfor patrons <br /> to read and understand. The content of the informational sections will be <br /> repurposed for website content, FAQs, and for use in brochures and flyers <br /> provided to patrons. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Ann Macdonald made a motion to accept the Library Card Policy. <br /> Seconded by Sandi Lahart.
