of TMs s,s
z.
Aannin Board
c
16 Great Neck Road North
.wlashpee, Aassachusetts 02649
Mr. Dibb stated that crosswalk is shared with the shared use path, and the state would have
an opinion on that, it may stray out of their pedestrian access. He then referenced the
crosswalk notification being further out.
Ms. Waygan asked if the yield triangles were painted, further Mr. Tobin inquired about the
paint's consistency.
Mr. Lucas stated the yield is painted, and type of paint will be whatever paint is specified, they
use thermal plastic, usually something durable.
Ms. Faulkner asked if they were planning to plant trees on the perimeter, next to Deer
Crossing condominiums, and if they will conceal the residents.
Chris Buccino, landscape architect for the applicant, stated the trees will reach a specified
height as opposed to shade or canopy. They will plant Evergreens and Eastern Red Cedar
that mature to 30-35ft. and American Holly matures to 20-25ft. All trees are 7-8ft. tall at time of
planting.
Ms. Faulkner brought up the reduced parking by 12 spaces to accommodate the snow
removal and inquired how many spots remain.
Mr. Dibb stated the proposed number is still in excess of zoning requirements, and the exact
number of spaces provided is 122. He clarified the snow spots remain; they will just be used
to house snow pilings during periods of inclement weather.
Mr. Tobin commented there were 4-8 parking spaces removed at the request of the Fire
Department, those closest to the entryway of the proposed building, and two at the top of the
center parking aisle in front of the same at the request of the Department and Engineer for
line of sight purposes.
Mr. Dibb noted the driveway islands have been increased, which accounted for four spaces,
and after the final changes and line striping, a total of 6 spaces were removed.
Ms. Waygan asked about maintaining the Bearberry and their height.
Mr. Buccino stated 12 inches at maturity and they are deciduous, but at the ends of the
building are continuous rows of Evergreen that go beyond and block the view.
Mr. Milbury inquired about the trees being straight in alignment or staggered.
4
