The Select Board are the policy makers <br /> of this and any clarification would need to go through them. <br /> New Member Update <br /> Agenda item next month. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Survey Results <br /> The results will be submitted to the Select Board for their approval. <br /> Cemetery <br /> Mr. Zefzaf commented this subject is in connection with the expansion of the cemetery, and <br /> more to come at Town Meeting. There is an Article on the Warrant. <br /> Future Plans <br /> Chair Stevenson informed the Committee she will be stepping down from her position as Chair <br /> this July. If she were to abruptly leave, it still creates an opening. She is happy to stay on as a <br /> member until officers are defined and voted on, which happens in July. Once established, she <br /> will resign altogether. This Committee and cause are very important to her. <br /> Mr. Kupferman echoed that she is important to this Committee. <br /> The Friendship Festival for Race Amily Day is in June. The June meeting could be used as a <br /> debrief session for the festival, with elections in July. <br /> The Waquoit Congregational Church is hosting a Movies that Matter series, showing "A Lien" <br /> and "Stranger at the Gate", two Oscar- nominated films about immigration and hate. This event <br /> will take place on Saturday, April 25t", from 4:OOPM — 6:OOPM. <br /> The Chair thinks that is something this Committee could do, host movies within the greater <br /> community. <br /> In closing, Town Meeting is Monday, May 4t" and the Annual Town Election is held Saturday, <br /> May 9t". There are changes to the Town Charter, notably a preamble that acknowledges the <br /> rich historical tapestry interwoven into Mashpee. One key statement being replaced is <br /> Selectman, now referenced as the Select Board. <br /> 5 <br />
