These comments, along with current pages on the
existing conditions should be sent to both Ms. Costello and Mr. DeSorgher.
Mr. Tobin said exactly what she described was already done, the redlines were sent in
response to this bullet.
Ms. Waygan would like the Historical Commission to further comment on those two bullets.
Whatever they decide with the Town Planner is fine. She also recalled the housing stability for
Tribal members when they moved buildings from JBCC to Mashpee. There is a lot of unique
history with this Town, but we don't have captain's houses like most towns.
Mr. Balzarini stated the one captain's house we did have the Town did not vote to fund the
restoration. Ms. Waygan also noted the historic hotel that burnt down.
There will be a Public Hearing on the LCP on 7/1, with Articles submitted for the 7/13 deadline.
Following Town Meeting, it will go back to the Cape Cod Commission.
Lastly, Mr. Tobin stated at the Board's request, he shifted images, changed pictures, and
snapped a few new shots himself. A lot of the new images came from the Conservation Dept.
PENS Update
Mr. Tobin stated at the last Town Meeting, we completed phase 1 with the technical changes.
At the last PENS meeting, they started discussing changes. They would like to shoot for the
Spring Town Meeting deadline, but to have everything ready in time for Fall Town Meeting. All
work will be finalized to be added to the agenda for Spring Town Meeting.
