<br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Articles 4, 5, 6, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, & 27 as printed <br /> <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:04 PM <br /> <br />Article 19 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to authorize the total expenditures for the following revolving funds pursuant <br />to G.L. Ch. 44 Section 53E ½ for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 to be expended in accordance <br />with the Bylaw establishing said revolving funds, heretofore approved, or take any other action relating <br />thereto. <br /> <br />FUND FY 2021 AUTHORIZATION <br />$580,000 <br />RECREATION <br />$20,000 <br />LIBRARY <br />$15,000 <br />SENIOR CENTER <br />$2,500 <br />HISTORICAL COMMISSION <br /> <br />Submitted by the Finance Director <br />Explanation: This article establishes the FY 2021 expenditure limits for departmental revolving funds. <br /> <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 19 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 19 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Articles 4, 5, 6, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, & 27 as printed <br />in the Warrant and with the exception of <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:04 PM <br /> <br />Stand Alone Article as per advice of Town Counsel <br /> <br />Article 20 identifies borrowing as a potential source of funding, which would require a 2/3 vote, rather <br />than the simple majority vote required for the other Articles in this group. Further, the Motion under <br />this Article must identify the specific source of funding to be authorized. Accordingly, consider whether <br />this Article may be best left as a stand-alone Article. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
