<br />Explanation: This article will add definitions recommended by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to <br />the Zoning Bylaw for the regulation of solar energy systems as currently regulated in the zoning bylaw and <br />as proposed in related warrant articles. <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 34 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 34 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> <br />The Planning Board, following a public hearing on April 15 2020, voted unanimously to recommend <br />Town Meeting approve Article 34. <br /> <br />Motion M <br /> <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Articles 31, 32, 33, and 34 as printed in the Warrant. <br /> <br />Motion passes by 2/3 vote at 9:04 PM <br /> <br />Article 35 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan laying out <br />and defining Chestnut Street, Cedar Street, Devon Street, Ash Street, Hawthorne Street and Gina Way and <br />accomplish said purpose and for expenses related thereto, the Town vote to appropriate and transfer the <br />sum of $12,500 from revenue available for appropriation to the Chestnut Street, Cedar Street, Devon Street, <br />Ash Street, Hawthorne Street and Gina Way Roadways Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br />SEE MAP IN APPENDIX A <br /> Submitted by Petition <br />Explanation: This article authorizes the Town to layout and define Chestnut Street, Cedar Street, Devon <br />Street, Ash Street, Hawthorne Street and Gina Way and to appropriate funding for this purpose. <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 35 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 35 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman <br /> <br />I move the Town vote to approve Articles 35 and 37 as printed in the warrant with the exception of the <br />phrase, or take any other relating thereto. <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously 9:05 PM <br /> <br />Article 36 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to adopt the following in the Town of Mashpee Bylaws: <br /> <br />The purchase by the Town of Mashpee of either water or any other beverage in single-use plastic bottles of <br />any size is prohibited and the sale of water or any beverage in single-use plastic containers is prohibited on <br />town property. <br /> <br />
