<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 22,2026 <br /> <br />The Town Manager cautioned against making exceptions for work occurring between <br />Memorial Day and Labor Day due to the increased impact on residents and visitors. The <br />Town Manager noted that the Town has received numerous complaints regarding <br />construction activity and tra?ic impacts. <br />The Town Manager acknowledged that some delays were caused by circumstances outside <br />of the contractor’s control, including challenges related to tra?ic control. The Town <br />Manager recognized the inconvenience caused by detours and the frustration expressed by <br />the public. <br />Selectman Weeden questioned why the contractor was not performing the work at night <br />and expressed concern that the contractor was not working cooperatively with the Town. <br />Motion made by Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo to deny the Request for Approval of <br />Extended Construction Work Schedule Under MassDOT Permit #5-2026-0084. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Review of Application for One-Day Liquor License, Boys & Girls Club Summer Fundraiser, <br />July 16, 2025 – Ruth Provost, Director <br />The Board reviewed the application for a One-Day Liquor License for the Boys & Girls Club <br />Summer Fundraiser scheduled for July 16, 2025. It was explained that the event will be held <br />on the basketball court, with the gym available as a rain location. Tickets will be $30 per <br />person, and Andy’s Market will be handling all vendors for the event. <br />Motion made by Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo to approve the Application for One- <br />Day Liquor License, Boys & Girls Club Summer Fundraiser, July 16, 2025. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
