<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 22,2026 <br /> <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Earnest Barrows addressed the Board regarding ongoing noise concerns related to the <br />pickleball courts. Barrows stated that he had previously provided the Board with <br />information about the issue and urged the Board to take action. He described the noise as <br />having a significant impact on his quality of life and health, noting that he has dealt with the <br />issue for eight years. Barrows stated that communities elsewhere have closed or relocated <br />pickleball courts due to similar noise concerns and asked the Board to either close or <br />relocate the park. He urged the Board to take the matter seriously and address the issue. <br />Lynne Barbee distributed a flyer promoting an upcoming Waquoit Bay cleanup event. She <br />also noted that three candidates for County Commissioner would be participating in the <br />event. Barbee also thanked Mary Bradbury, Chair of Human Services, for her many years of <br />service. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Review of Request for Approval of Extended Construction Work Schedule Under MassDOT <br />Permit #5-2026-0084 <br />The Board reviewed a request for approval of an extended construction work schedule <br />under MassDOT Permit #5-2026-0084.
