<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 22,2026 <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Joint Petition/WO #23201764, dated April 2, 2026, from Eversource <br />Energy and Verizon New England, Inc. – Right of Way Agent (Caller) <br />The Town Manager informed the Board that the Department of Public Works Director had <br />recommended seven conditions for the project, which were outlined in a memorandum. <br />The petitioner had also been notified of the recommended conditions. <br />There were no comments from the Board or members of the public. <br />Motion made by Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo to close the public hearing. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to approve Joint Eversource/Verizon Petition <br />#23201764 with the following conditions: <br /> No work shall be undertaken between Memorial Day and Labor Day <br /> A schedule for the proposed work, along with a tra?ic management plan, shall <br />be provided to the DPW a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of work <br /> Vehicular tra?ic shall not be detoured. If two directions of tra?ic cannot be <br />maintained, tra?ic shall be alternated <br /> If work is taking place from the sidewalk, proper signage shall be placed during <br />work hours closing the sidewalk to pedestrians and bicyclists and directing <br />them to alternative routes. <br /> Eversource and/of their contractor shall be responsible for repairing any <br />damage to the sidewalk, road, and other Town infrastructure. Any grass areas <br />disturbed shall be raked, loamed, and seeded (the schedule for loaming and <br />seeding may be delayed depending on the time of year work is completed). <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
