<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 22,2026 <br /> <br /> Prior to the start of any work, Eversource and/or their contractor shall provide a <br />certificate of insurance to the Town of Mashpee listing the Town as an additional <br />insured. <br /> These conditions shall be applicable to other utilities when moving their lines <br />to the new poles. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Recognition of Jack Borowski for His Actions on April 10, 2026 <br />The Board recognized Jack Borowski, an Eagle Scout and member of the Mashpee High <br />School Class of 2026, for his actions on April 10, 2026. <br />While attending the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the Mashpee Center for Active <br />Living as part of a school field trip, a light bulb burst over a dining table and began to <br />smoke. Acting quickly and independently, Borowski located a nearby fire extinguisher and <br />successfully extinguished the fire, demonstrating courage, composure, and quick thinking. <br />The Board commended Borowski for his actions and recognized his commitment to the <br />safety of others. <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to approve the recognition of Jack Borowski as a <br />distinguished citizen. <br />Motion seconded by Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
