<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />May 18,2026 <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectwoman Kelley- Wilson to ask the Town Manager to facilitate an <br />external and impartial review of the sta? and volunteer personnel issues and present <br />findings to the Select Board in Executive Session. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br /> <br />Selectman Cotton expressed concern about the cost of an external review and stated that <br />the matter had escalated unnecessarily, noting they did not believe there was a need for a <br />formal review. <br /> <br />Vote: 4-1 Motion Passes <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Selectman Cotton-no <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Shawna Pitts noted two primary issues: whether the Conservation Commission acted within <br />legal authority and the overall conduct of the Commission, including application of the <br />Wetlands Protection Act. <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to have KP Law draft a Selectboard Policy for our <br />review as presented—to adhere to the most stringent application of bylaws and <br />regulations as they relate to water quality, convey that the Select Board supports town <br />sta? and members of its boards and commissions, will ensure they receive clear policy <br />guidance, training and technical support, and will stand behind them when they take <br />positions in accordance with the application of regulations and bylaws and hold them <br />accountable if they do not apply regulations as delineated by KP Law. <br />Motion seconded by Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson. <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
