<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />July 13,2026 <br /> <br />The Town Manager reported that discussions have continued with the Sandwich Town <br />Manager regarding mutual enforcement e?orts on Mashpee-Wakeby Pond. He stated that <br />these e?orts will continue to support ongoing conversations and improvements related to <br />lake management. <br />He also shared that the State has committed to providing coverage on the lake every Sunday <br />for the remainder of the year. While sta?ing may be a challenge, the State is willing to provide <br />enforcement coverage when possible. The Town Manager noted that increased enforcement <br />has made a noticeable di?erence. <br />Motion made by Chair Cotton to enter Executive pursuant to G.L. c. 30A, §21(a)(7) <br />(Purpose 7) and G.L. c. 30A, §21(a)(3) (Purpose 3) : to review and approve the Select <br />Board executive session meeting minutes from the following date: June 22, 2026; votes <br />may be taken and discuss strategy with respect to potential litigation where an open <br />meeting may have a detrimental e?ect on the litigating position of the Town – Earnest <br />Barrows, pickleball courts, threatened litigation against the Town and to not reconvene <br />in Open Session. <br />Motion seconded by Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
