<br /> <br />MWLMC <br />June Minutes <br /> <br />PRESENT MEMBERS <br />Paul Bibo-Chair <br />Donald MacDonald <br />Deborah McManus <br />Barbara Nichols <br />Allison Berhardt <br />Lashelle Mathis-Board Secretary <br />Meeting called to order in open session by Chair Paul Bibo at Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great <br />Neck North, Mashpee, Ma at 7:00 pm. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />MINUTES <br />Motion made by Donald MacDonald to approve the minutes of Tuesday, April 28, 2026 <br />meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Deborah McManus. <br />Motion passed unanimous consent. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Lake Measurements <br />The Committee discussed the ongoing lake level measurements at Mashpee Pond. It was <br />noted that the Town is now responsible for monitoring lake elevation using its gauge, and <br />that this is expected to be the primary method of monitoring after the renovation project is <br />complete. Members discussed whether continuing biweekly measurements is necessary, <br />as the Town now oversees the monitoring. <br /> The Committee also discussed the proposed work around Mill Pond and Route 130, noting <br />that the future of the fish ladder has not yet been determined. <br />Mashpee & Wakeby Stormwater Restoration Project <br />The Committee noted that the Mashpee-Wakeby Stormwater Restoration Project has been <br />completed. Members observed that the parking area appears to remain unchanged, with <br />no noticeable loss of parking spaces. It was also noted that the Recreation Department <br />manages the area on weekends. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
