MWLMC <br />June Minutes <br /> <br />New Business: <br />Spring Newsletter approval <br />Motion made by Donald MacDonald to accept and publish the Spring Newsletter. <br />Motion seconded by Barbara Nichols. <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br />Pond Safety / Review of Jet Ski informational meeting of June 18, 2026 <br />Members discussed the need for additional boating regulations and enforcement to <br />improve safety for all users, including residents and those using paddleboards. Concerns <br />were also raised about increasing lake use by non-residents and the impact on parking and <br />public access. It was noted that the parking area is state-owned but managed by the Town. <br />Unanticipated Business <br />The Committee discussed updating the current Mashpee-Wakeby Lake boating regulations <br />listed on the town’s website. It was noted that any changes to boating rules, including <br />regulations related to bass tournaments, would need to be published through the Town's <br />standard regulatory process.
