of TMs s,s
z.
Aannin Board
c
16 Great Neck Road North
.wlashpee, Aassachusetts 02649
Look at where the other goals and policies are and make sure they are aligned. He does not
think it is readyjust yet, he asked that two more weeks be taken to finalize the document so it
won't have to be reviewed next year because it says two things in conflict. He suggested those
two items about Flow Neutral Bylaw and the Tree Bylaw be added and take the time to get it
right after we've been working on this for years.
Mr. Tobin stated the website has every version of the LCP from November 2025 to July 1,
2026, with over 12 different versions posted and available for the public's review. The red line
versions were posted in real time for the public to review and enjoy.
MOTION:
Dennis Balzarini made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Seconded by Karen
Faulkner.All in favor.
Ms. Waygan does see the point made on page i-55, TC22 action, explore methods to improve
bicycle safety throughout the town with a primary focus on recreation purposes. The public
comment on that had to do with transportational, not just recreation. We should add that back
into the plan.
Mr. Tobin stated bicycle and transportation are stated at least 5 times throughout this
document. It would behoove the Board to take a vote tonight and get it to Town Meeting now.
Ms. Waygan knows he wants this done, and these changes are not big, people spent a lot of
time on these changes. This has to do with safety, even if we leave out the part about
transportation, we are saying we are only focusing on bicycling as a recreation.
Mr. Tobin noted deliberations on this were about 6 meetings ago. We are not ignoring it.
Ms. Waygan stated someone made public comments, took our surveys, went to meetings and
brought people here. We haven't seen him in a while, but he is right. We can vote on this with
the condition the verbiage is changed. She intends to vote today and add in or remove the
entire phrase. Mr. Balzarini would like to add the phrase back in.
Mr. Tobin does not think the addition is necessary, but he will defer to the Board.
12
