of TMs s,s
z.
Aannin Board
c
16 Great Neck Road NOYth
.wlashpee, Aassachusetts 02649
Mr. Tilden explained the mount analysis models' antennas to meet codes for certain locations,
for example, coastal winds would be higher. Typically, those analyses are performed later in
the process. If they start in 2022, the antennas will have changed a couple of times by the time
they go to construct. This happens closer to construction as part of the documents provided for
the building permit, they then provide the mount analysis as part of that application.
Ms. Faulkner asked if the fall zone is measured in all four directions and will it hit any
neighboring properties?
It was answered that the fall zone is measured in a 360* rotation. With a 50ft. fall zone the
closest property line is 99ft.
Ms. Waygan referenced Zoning Bylaw as being written in a way to anticipate everything, and
should this fail, it would crack in the middle. The engineering letter says it would never fail from
the bottom. She is concerned with the road that people use right there to connect to the
schools on Old Barnstable Rd.
c. Request to waive equipment. We should have this information on file for the Fire
Department, as a condition of approval. This should be provided with safety
materials, like site maintenance documentation, where these brochures will live. Its
important for the town to know what is happening, maybe a condition of approval for
the site to be maintained in perpetuity, but a discussion to have.
d. Lighting — additional. Have on the plan all locations of existing lights and the pole
itself. There is an emergency light on site.
e. Radio Frequency Emissions report. RF consultant can help work through this.
Ms. Waygan asked if there was something in the Zoning Bylaw about a Decommissioning
Plan, that will have to be investigated. Houses are nearby and we don't want anyone to get
hurt.
Mr. Tobin agrees that the Radio Frequency Consultant should thoroughly vet 5e and 5a. With
the applicant, he wanted to make sure under 5c, those brochures would be provided prior to
building permit issuance.
6
