MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JULY 22, 2026 <br /> Attorney Haverty said they will cover traffic, civil and fire safety. He said that <br /> Jermey Souza, Fire Consultant to cover the fire safety issues. Mr. Bill Buckley <br /> will be present to discuss the civil engineering, and Jeff Dirk to prepare his peer <br /> review response. The peer review responses will be submitted to the Board by <br /> August 5, 2026, with one potential exception being the Architecture. <br /> Lynne will reach out to the civil peer reviewer. Mr. White will discuss it with his <br /> associates to determine if they are prepared to be present. Lynee asked Attorney <br /> Haverty if there are any revisions to the Architecture and if they will be <br /> submitting them soon. <br /> Attorney Haverty said that the only changes to the Architecture would be to <br /> reduce impacts. Fire safety would be improved when the changes are made to <br /> the Architectural plans. There are a lot of comments and questions raised <br /> regarding fire and safety, and that can be addressed. <br /> Lynne suggested to the Board that they invite some of the Department Heads; <br /> Conservation, Board of Health, Fire and Police because those topics will be <br /> discussed at the meeting, and if possible, to be placed on the Agenda earlier, but <br /> it's up to the Board. <br /> Attorney Kwesell suggested to the Boad and applicant that the August 12, 2026, <br /> meeting be specifically for traffic and civil, and fire safety on August 26, 2026. <br /> The Board had a conversation regarding public access for this project's future <br /> hearings and Attorney Kwesell stated that the public requires the same access <br /> as the Board. <br /> Attorney Haverty said that he will be prepared to submit traffic and civil <br /> responses and provide fire safety on August 26, 2026. <br /> Lynne mentioned that the Board does not have a detailed conditions and waiver <br /> list. Attorney Haverty said that Chris Halpren is preparing a detailed waiver list. <br /> Lynne mentioned that the waiver list could be presented at the meeting with the <br /> Architectural review. This meeting will be very technical and lengthy. <br /> Mr. Reidy made a motion to continue this hearing until Wednesday, August 12, <br /> 2026, to receive information from the developer related to traffic and safety. Mr. <br /> Furbush second. All were in favor. <br /> 11 <br />
