S� do Minutes of the Meeting MAS HOUSING AUTHORITY Board of Commissioners May 9, 2002 The meeting was called to order by the chairperson at 5:35 p, . and a quorum declared with the following members present: Lorri i~inton, E. Stuart Peoples, Mary Ukin , and LaVerne Williams. Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, Executive Dior. SECRETARYIS REPORT; Minutes for regular meeting held on April 11, 200were presented. A motion was made by Ms.Williams and seconded by Ms. Likins to accept the minutes as presented. The mo on was adopted. TR As REWS REPORT: Budget tg AdUt and_ gr ate 'e_s Mrs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report with regards to the bank accounts and the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represented the tenth month of the fiscal year. Mrs. Botsford described in detail how the Budget too Aral Report can be read, Mrs. Botsford pointed out that the only line item that is over budget is line item o for legal expenses. This line item will be over budget for the year, since we did not budget for any legal expenses. &=unt5 ftyables; Payables t]ota l i n g $8,,154.,23 were presented to the Board for review, approval and signatures. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for her signature. Rent elinouencie ^ Mrs, Botsford stated that all rents are paid in full at Homeyer Village and one resident at Breezy Acres has a balance due and has promised to pay in full by the 10'h. Ms. El ms commented that she didn't think the bank accounts all added up. Mrs. Botsford suggested double-cheering the figures on the calculator afi -the rest of the agenda items were discussed. The motion was ad EXECUME DIRECTOWSREPORT: Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her report to the board for the month of April and it is attached to the minutes as &UprhM2nt A* Ctrs, Botsford asked if here were any questions about her report. There being none, she added the following report: A copy of the new, amended Mashpee Housing Authority Bir•-imus has been provided to everyone, Mrs. Botsford mentioned I've been talking with DHCD about the possibility of further development on our 705 site (Breezy Acres), They suggested cont acting Mass, Housing Partnership Fuad, which she has done and they have encouraged her to file an application for Technical Assistance, which she will do.
