MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> MAY 18, 1994 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 7:OOPM <br /> Members present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Denise Sullivan; Tony <br /> Gallo; Marcia King and Juan Pacigalupi . John Ferriday and Roger <br /> Dunivan were unable to attend. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting was for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. once the Minutes are <br /> approved, the tapes will be reused. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Tony Gallo MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of April 28, 1994. <br /> Marcia King seconded the Motion and members voted in approval of <br /> the Minutes as written 4-0. Mr. Pacigalupi abstaining. <br /> Tony Gallo MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of May 2nd and May 3rd as <br /> written. Denise Sullivan seconded the Motion and members approved <br /> the Minutes 4-0. Mr. Pacigalupi abstaining. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> There was a memo from Jane LaBute, Town Clerk, requesting that the <br /> Finance Committee inform her of their reorganization. Ms. Sullivan <br /> received a letter from the Personnel Board, in which she asked Mr. <br /> Goggin to address. There were letters from the Board of Selectmen <br /> and the Water Commission regarding their reorganizations. There <br /> was a memo from John Doherty in regard to blood donations for <br /> Anthony Capelle. Lastly, there was a memo from Leslie Kirwin, <br /> Division of Local Services regarding additional stabilization aid. <br /> Mr. Goggin requested that the recording secretary inform the Town <br /> Clerk, Mr. Whritenour, The Enterprise and the Mashpee Messenger of <br /> the Finance Committee's reorganization which will take place at <br /> this meeting. He also asked that she write to certain publications <br /> who provide newsletters to the Finance Committee informing them of <br /> the current members and their addresses. <br /> REORGANIZATION <br /> The first order of business for the Committee was to reorganize. <br /> Tony Gallo nominated Dan Goggin to act as Chairman for the <br /> Committee. Denise Sullivan seconded the nomination and hearing no <br /> other nominations, the Committee votedlq-0 in favor of Mr. Goggin <br /> remaining Chairman. John Ferriday could not attend the meeting, <br /> but cast his vote for Dan Goggin in a letter received by the <br /> Committee (attached) . <br /> Dan Goggin nominated Marcia King as Vice Chairman for the <br /> Committee. Denise Sullivan seconded the nomination and members <br /> voted _S--0, hearing no other nominations. <br />
